I finally got a taste of FALL,...and a project for Wendy?

Hey big sis Wendy, That penny rug-esq little piece of wonderfulness that you were asking about is this little gem that I purchased last year at Home Goods for about $5.00. It looks really simple, just felt and stitches on a burlap(?) background. What do you say that we make it, or something similar to it our next experiment. How about all of our crafty blog lady/friends do it and we all post our renditions??

Today while my boys were at school, my girls and I were able to go to a pumpkin patch. For any of you who have endured my rantings about the Autumn-less desert that I live in here in Southern Ca.,.... my well has been filled, my reservoirs are flowing, and my diet Coke can runneth over with today's experience of the refreshing images of fall. I can complain no more. Some friends and I drove all the way to Yucaipa for the grandeur but it was soo worth it.

Beautiful autumn pictures! I love the orange colors. I guess it must be pretty hot where you are then (weatherwise)? Here in Denmark it is right now cold and rainy, and the days are getting shorter and darker.

I'm also in the middle of the desert in Southern Ca, and I am WISHING for Fall! I think I'm going to have to go to Julian this weekend for some apples and pumpkins. At least the weather is getting a little bit nicer!

What beautiful pictures Holly! I love all things fall. I am in the same sort of feeling I guess as I live in Northern California and the fall just doesn't Happen here like in other parts of the country. It looks like your trip to the pumpkin patch wa very successful in bringing that fall feeling in. I wanted to say yesterday when I posted that I love your name as it is my youngest daughters name.
