I WANT ONE...............

Let me take a moment to be shamelessly materialistic. (We all do it once in a while, right??) I have wanted a dress form for forever. Honestly, I have loved them for as long as I can remember. Preferably vintage, preferably rustic, and preferably larger than me so that she makes me feel skinny...(Just kidding...sort of. :)) I have never had the fortune of running across an affordable one and whenever I search them they are so pricey. (Just can't justify spending a lot of money on something for pure whimsy, ya know??! )
I really love her. I really appreciate the dark rustic look of her metal frame.

She's lovely, but I might start to resent her figure ;);).

These ladies would be welcome in my home.

She is probably my favorite. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about her.

So not what I'm looking for but she definitely made me smile.

I even like the plain old metal framed type.
So, my point is...........since blog land is such an excellent resource and wealth of knowledge,....if anyone out there knows of a dealer :), a dress form garage sale holder, or anything of the like,....I would be ever so grateful to be privy to that info!! Thank You soooo much and have a LOVELY WEEKEND!!!!

Hi there...I dont know what your price range is, but my sister saw these at Winners Home Sense recently for $29.99. I should tell that I live in eastern Canada, but if they have it at Winners here, than they could have it at Winners everywhere right? Just thought I would share the little knowledge I have on the matter. Oh, and she also told me they had shabby white!!!

Hugs,
Melinda

Holly, I totally love those too. Man that first one is to die for. I found one for $10 at a garage sale but she's pretty plain. I almost purchased one at a thrift shop for $100, not quite in my price range. Maybe we'll find one tomorrow. Very, very cool.

Hey Holly, you probably don't want to hear this, but guess what Alysa and I found garage saleing today???????

They are all black with turned wood! Extremely cute!!! (And a steal!)

Sorry if that hurts.

They only had two, one for Alysa and one for me. It is going in my pink room. My heart is all a-flutter and my mind is racing with ideas about what to do with it. Yippie!!

Can you believe Alysa's comment that maybe we'd find one today?- and we did! That kind of thing happens all the time for us. Just make a wish...

It will happen for you too!

OOOHHH.... They told you. I was debating whether or not to tell you about them... The girls snagged em' up before I got there... They did have a bunch of ugly mannequins left. I took a picture to show you, but decided against buying it for you as a joke! I just can't believe those were out there today... I mean really, what are the chances?!! I went out late, or I would've seen it... oh well! Next time right! Alysa says she may post her old one on DESERT BLOG SHOP.

I'm of no help. But there is a fun post about how Heather Bullard made a brand new one look old. All you have to do is google search her name with My New Gal and it will take you to the very post. But then...she's Heather Bullard.
I LOVE the blue and pink floral ones you shared here!!!

I've always wanted one ~ have no idea what I would do with it or why I "need" it but if one crosses my path, it's mine all mine!

Are you familiar with The Dust Bunny Hostage blog? She had a little miniature one of these that she decorated a while back. It was very cute - - -but probably wouldn't answer your craving for the real thing.
