Fall makes me feel like nesting and crafting, baking and creating, gathering and exploring. It has definitely been an Indian Summer in the desert, and it is still to warm and too green, (so maybe this is all in my imagination), but I feel that inspiring little twinge of fall wafting through me from my toes up. I love it...it's almost like I can smell that little nip starting to paint the air. (Because I certainly can't feel it.) I have been exploring my creativity in my crafty little cave here in the desert (doesn't that paint a bizarre image), and I have been blogging my masterpieces(?), so my family blog is getting overrun with projects and ideas and etc.'s. I plan to make a blurb book out of my family blog someday, and when I do I will be editing my crafty rantings out of it. I decided...why not separate the two now? The next few post are like my clearance bin, (picked over) because they are old posts I will be transferring to their new home. But, who knows...down the road maybe I will come up with some fresh material. I don't claim to be as talented, as good of a photographer, or as full of ideas as my big sis, nor will I post near as often as her, but I am happy to join this well of wonderfulness; the creative blog world; that brings a squeal of delight to my heart nearly every day. (wow, how was that for a run-on sentence.) I have already been cyber stalking several creative blogs for months now, and it is just so refreshing to escape from the real world into every one else's imaginations. Now I have a haven of my own.
p.s. Wend- I accidentally dyed my hair burgundy. ouch! I would post a pic but it is too humiliating. The silver lining....at least its in time for Halloween, right?

WHAT? You didn't call it "just for you" or "the kid sister"? My goodness. I feel slighted. Just kidding. I do wish I had a way with words like you do. I feel the tide shifting.
Seriously, welcome and I'm glad you finally decided to join the ranks l'il sis.
I can already tell this is going to be a fun blog. Way to go girl. You are so talented. I saw it in your amazing bows. I can't wait to be "wow"ed by you. We'll be checking back to Holly's Haven more often. Thanks for the inspiration. I too get the craft bug but mine is more talking about it rather than the doing.
Very cool, I love your creativeness! You inspire me, and if I had more time, I would do the same thing.
Found your blog on Wendy's blog...so glad I came over! I'll be adding you to my favorites...and a link on my blog too! Feel free to pop on over there and check it out!
I have gotten into the 'fall nesting' mode too. Unfortunately, we just moved and still haven't sold our last house, so we have two house payments and not alot of extra $$$ to make my decorative dreams come true. :( I hope to gleam some inspiration from you, though!
