Bookmarks made from old clothing tags.... Every once in a while I tear the 'price' tag off of something that I have purchased, and the tag is just such a good thick texture that I can't bring myself to throw it away. Tags were just piling up in my drawer of uselessness. I have finally found a purpose for them. My favorite images (from magazines, catalogs, scrapbook paper, etc.), some Mod Podge, Versamark, ultra thick embossing powder, a heat gun...........and voila. LOTS of ribbon makes perfect. I am excited about them, and tempted to go ETSY with them, but then I would be forced to start making art again and use my own images. I don't know if I am ready for that kind of emotional commitment just yet. :)

Holly, Now I know why Wendy wanted you to start your own blog. Very cute. I spy your ribbon on some cool looking holders in the background. What is that all about?

Cute bookmarks! And the fact that you used tags from your clothing...even better!
I love the bookmarks, but what I love even more is the idea of keeping your ribbon on the paper towel holders! They make such a visual statement like that, I love it!
