My youngest son painted this when he was 8 years old and I fell in love with it. I don't know whether it was his use of colors and shapes, or his movement and expression, or the entire composition. I just love it! Well, we finally got it framed and mounted on the 'kids wall if art' in our home office. So,...as I am sure you can guess.........the wall of art is today's favorite spot. 
Kids art speaks to me because it is so uninhibited, free, and fresh. I think that it makes some of the best decor in a home.
I think you have a very talented son, Holly. This is a great picture; I agree with you, I love the colours and the shape and also the composition. He is a natural.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt, who is an art designer, used to always display her kids artwork. She hanged the paintings all over the house and I always liked that. Today, her oldest daughter is using her talents as an artist and designer in her every day work.
I love your kids gallery. I would love to do that in this house...now if I could only find a wall!
ReplyDeleteOh Holly he's good! All of the art is great looks good hanging there I always love to hang the d-mans art he's 20 and still drawing so I've got plenty to hang I'll have to start hanging them again. have a great weekend

What cute artwork your son did! I love that he added the *air* behind the figures who are running. He might end up being an artist, for real! I love your favorite spot - I agree, kids' art is the best. :)
